At that price, a good deal. I've fired the 9mm and the .45. No problems with either. The 9mm bullets went about where I was aiming. No way to tell whether any variance was me (probably) or the gun. The .45 did the one-ragged hole then at ~20 yards.

Haven't looked at HiPoints for a while, but they still seem to be around.

I have to agree, I bought one @ $99 as a "shooter" and the only problem I ever had was when I dinged the lip of one of the magazines. It is a blow back operation pistol and susceptible to "limp wristing" esp. by lefties like my son

Some folks love them and some don't. It kind of a "toss-up" as to what you get. You'll just have to take it to the range and see. Can't beat the asking price.

I've shot the .380 and the 45 ....They shot well and they are heavy enough to reduce recoil  but I really don't care for them..... that being said they would make a perfect truck gun because if it gets stolen you are not out a lot of money and they ae pretty reliable.
