Well, I'm not an expert by any stretch,
but the Kahr PM-9, that I own, is a very
nice shooter. It has one of the nicest triggers
of all the guns I have shot. Great triggers
are usually great shooters, at least to me.
I have a Galco pocket holster that fits into
my pocket similar to the feel of a wallet. It has
night sights on it that are cool in the dark.
IMO, the Kahr is a good choice for concealed carry.
Here is a picture of mine:

Good luck, Haka

'I know Quite a few people who have them and love them for a BUG or CCW..... Kahr used to recommend a break in of 250 rounds before using as a CCW, they said the guns needed a break in be cause of the close tolerances.

I probably have 700rds thru my Kahr now, and without any failures. One thing that impresses me, neither good nor bad, is the tightness of the slide spring when locking it open, manually. This is a characteristic of all small guns like this. Again, the trigger is great on this gun, to me. It is wider then I normally see, and smoother when firing. It must have a well polished/engineered trigger/sear/nose assembly. Basically, the Glock and Kahr are similar in style, both striker fired handguns. IMO, the Kahr's trigger blows the Glock trigger "out of the water", as they say. Just better made.
Here is a link to a thread that has good info on this subject. They is much said there, and maybe a little b.s. mixed in, but good reading:

I was never much of a Kahr fan in the past, but recently (many months ago) acquired a Kahr CW-9 and absolutely love it. It is a wonderful addition to my 9MM 'collection' and it immediately replaced the venerable old Kel-Tec P3AT as my BUG.
Now, If I could find a 45 in that size, I would be in heaven.

Hey Bullseye,
Not wishing to hijack this thread or pee in anyone's Cheerios, I abhor 1911 style safeties. Looks like a great size though.
Come on Glock... make me a compact 45 (not that girlie sub-compact thing).

I've found the Kahr PM-40 to be a good balance of power (.40 s&w) and concealment.
The Ruger LCP is also nice, but, anemic, but, better than the penknive in my offhand pocket..
or this....

I've been carrying a K9 in a Don Hume iwb for 2 years. Absolutely love it. As stated the DOA trigger is excellent. It would be nice to find a PM but here in the people's republic of Mass. the price is out of control. Kahr makes a great firearm, to bad they had to leave Mass and go to N.Y. to run their business.

I've got a smith and wesson 442 that is my main cc piece, I carry it in a fobus paddle, a G&G 3 slot pacake holster or front pocket.... best compromise between size, weight, shootability, and power that I know....and 100% reliable.
