I took the gun to the range today. I replaced the factory grips with a set of Pachmayr Decelerator grips and installed a fiberoptic front sight from EasyHit.

Mostly, I was playing with the mainspring strain screw, looking for that “sweet spot” where I had the lightest pull possible with 100% ignition. Just a small amount of adjustment – 1/8th turn or less – can make a big difference. The rubber grips make it easy to get to the screw head without having to remove the grips.

By the time I was through, I’d fired about 40 rounds and had one big hole in the center of the 15 yd target.

Don't tell me the grips are ugly. Of course they're ugly. I didn't design them. Don't yell at me!

I'm all about function. With the big front sight it will draw you right to it.

357mag on small frame can be hand full, I like the grips.

Like the site and grips. The Hogue grips on my 686 are uncomfortable. Looking for replacements
