Guns Galore, is that the place in Fenton? have not been there in a long time. Will check my local dealer/friend and see what he has and let you know. Used to be a place like that one called Brown Bear in Utica???? been a long time.
Hang in there spring is coming although it may be fall before it gets here. 8)
You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.

You got to have more than one, maybe even more tha one of the same model, so you can shot two handed. Years ago the guy that ran the indoor range and they were nice people as long as you were safe they were pretty lenient. One day I though I would like to shoot one gun in each hand like the old Cowboy/Texans did. Asked him, can I shoot one gun in each hanc, his answer was I don't know can you? Lots of un, but you sure can burn through the ammo.

Rob, just checked the weather in your are and your temp is just a little warmer than here, you have 12, we got 9. We got no snow but frozen dirt, snow pretty much melted away a week or so ago. Must be fun to watch all them Rebs try to drive in snow that they see rarely. Up here we are a little more adept at it as we do it a lot, no wonder ther are so many 4WD's in Michigan.

Hakaman, my dealer/friend has a few 1911's used in very good condition.

A Springfiled Armory in .38 super with extra barrels and parts not really what you want in my estimation.
A standard model Colt in .45 ACP for $695.00
A Springfield Armor Loaded Target in Stainless 9mm with adjustable sight for $819.95.

Just thought I would stop in there this morning and take a look for you, only bought one gun before I left A Henry H001 that II have been wanting and he had one that looked pretty good.

If you are interested in anything PM or e mail me and we can get in touch.
You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.

Is that a used gun OM? One thing I was sorta wanting on a 1911 was front strap lined.
39deg and sunny in my neck of the woods

Yes it is used of course, he only had 31911's in the shop. Looks like a lot of guns are really scarce and understand some distributors will not even take and order as they can not get a commitment from the manufacturer. Gun looks to have been shot very little, I believe it still has the factory box and 2 mags and I know he will cut you a good deal.

36 and sunny here, next 2 days are supposed to be 40 or better, want to pick up my Henry and shoot it.
Will e mail you some other info OM & B

Len, those 1911 prices seem to be in line with what I've seen around here. Depends on the condition.

H'man, I don't think you mentioned what MKIII you had. Anyone that is different is a good choice. If you don't have a 22/45, consider one of those.

9°F this morning setting a historical March low in Richmond. Went to about 40 and is heading for 70 for the weekend.

We are supposed to have mid 40's tomorrow and 50's on Fri and Sat. Got to pick up my new Henry and take it straight from the shop to the range. Anything I buy ther is read to shoot.

Well, supposed to be mid 50's today and tomorrow, if it gets there we will go to the range. Target will not be anything to write home about, old age, offhand and iron sights make extreme accuracy doubtful. You young guys go for 10's and X's, us old guys are happy if they are all in the black or inside the 8 ring. Maybe even just keeping on the paper, this is not a target gun and will just be my fun shooter, mostly for my spinning plastic prarie dog targets. I know the new shooter will be accurate but not always sure of the accuracy of the old shooter. :o

I like your humility OM, but I have to admit, I'm in the same boat. I had 20-10 vision as a youngster, but now my eyes struggle to focus on the front site. I'm not the rooster I used to be.

You think it's bad now, just wait until your age is higher than the expressway speed limit.
