I considered it a few years back.
BUT it's just too #*$& small !!
I can not hold it to aim and pull that little-tab of a trigger.
also, the .22Mag cannot utilize the powder-burn in a revolver
nor can it achieve any extra-muzzle-velocity from the barrel
that is barely longer than the cartridge....
however, I did get the Taurus 22BR
http://www.taurususa.com/products/produ ... model=22BR
as a 'carry'... I'm not a caliber begins with "4" kinda guy...
but .22 just ain't enough... so, as an "alternate/2nd/pocket" consideration
look at the Ruger LCP
http://www.gunblast.com/Ruger-LCP.htm
was I 'nice' enough ?

Tex, though you guys out there went for everything big? I am a .45 kind of guy and carry either an SA Micro Compact or an SA V-10, my second gun is a Kel Tec P3AT .3890 ACP and that is about as small as I will go.
You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.

the Ruger-LCP is (in my opinion) an improved "3AT"...
it appears that they examined the Glock and thought about it
and made the barrel+slide feed a lot like the Glock...

Picked this one up about a year and a half ago for the right price. Had some initial feed problems feeding the first 2 rounds in the mag and then ran great. Talked to a sweet young lady in customer service and told her my problem and asked about shortening the mag spring as the slide was dragging on the rounds in the mag. She said not to cut off over 2 turns, cut off one and the gun runs fine all through the mag. Not a target gun by any means and a real hand full to shoot but it does get the job done and will put all six on the target rapid fire at 7 yards any time.
You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.

As far as NAA 22 mag mini's go. Well I like mine. Carry it with me everywhere I go. Its small enough to slip in your pocket and no one knows its there. Now I'm not saying its a primary defense gun by no means. I mean lets face it. Its a belly gun. Or should I say a get'em off me gun. Besides the best gun for self defense is the one you got on you. And BTW, NAA makes a oversized rubber grip for $24 that gives you more to hold on to. Hope this helps. Tradrick

I can see where the larger grip would be beneficial for gripping that little BUG pistol.
I haven't tried one of these little pistols but I did at one time think seriously about a derringer style one in 9mm. I liked the idea of a BUG for my Browning HP in the same caliber. These days I carry a G27 instead of all the extras.

My P3AT with it's smallhard plastic frame/grip is not the most pleasant gun to shoot but it does get tje job dome and as my mentor would say " it ain'i mrant to be a target gun and it will shoot to within 2 minute of felon, and that will get the jod done" He is a believer as are a lot of others have been invovled in may shootings, that the fastest reload iss a secondRight hand gun Micro Compact 1911. left hand gun P3AT. gun. He carries 3 at all times and has survived 20 years and many shootingss on a major PD. o he should know what he is talking about.

The larger grip actually aids in accuracy.I took it to the range after putting the grips on.And was able to put all 5 rds. in a pie plate at 7 yds.If I was to purchase another one I believe I would get their Black Widow model. It comes with a 2'' barrel a factory oversized grip and better sites. And is still very concealable. It can also be bought as a conversion to shoot 22 lr and 22 mag(cheaper to practice with). If you go to their website there is a video of a guy shooting ballons at 100 feet with a Black Widow.Check it out.Tradrick

That would qualify as 2 minutes of felon, remember a BUG is not a target gun to be aimed, it is a point and shoot to get the job done and possibly save a life, YOURS.
