Super Comanche

I have looked at the Super Comanche in the .45/410. Has anyone had
experience with this handgun? Thanks.

Not this model in particular, but pistols that can also handle shotgun shells, yes. The .45 long colt will be nice I bet, but the shotgun will suffer terribly. I used to carry a pistol "shotgun" for snakes while rock climbing and while it would efficiently clean off a ledge before you put your hand (or feet) there, that is about all it was good for.

If you want it for the .45, I see no real problem... but, if you want it for the shotgun capability as well, I would think hard about it. What is the primary purpose for the shotgun? Max effective range from a short barrel is extremely limited.

If you like it, by all means, get one.

I now carry a short barrel (19") side by side for snakes and other varmints. No more shotgun pistols for me (I would probably shoot my foot *again*).
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain. [1 COR 15:10a - NASB]
