Bushings are cheap and fairly easy to fit. I would start there or replace the whole barely and buds hang with a "pre fit set" that about a c note or so.

possibly the trigger operator need to be rejuvenated??????/

The crown looked ok and the rifling looked ok. The barrel had a lot of play in the bushing. I didn't measure anything.
I may try painting the front sight but I don't think that will do much.

why stop at psinting the front sight? put some racing stripes on it.
