Got to shoot my gp-100 rested the other day after work.....100yds , I shot 2 five shoot groups....1st groups was 3.25 c-t-c and the 2nd was 3.0 c-t-c..
Never in all my days have I seen a revolver shoot this well......then I shot a group as if to mimick my hunting postion sitting arms rested over knee's This groups was shot at 75yds....and it still went 3.0'' ......dont think I'll have much trouble smackin a yote out to 100yds with this gun....now if I can just get one called in.........cant wait to see what this load will do.....125gr XTP with 16.5gr allaint 2400 small pistol primer....not magnum....I know from shooting this load is stout.....should be in the neighborhood of 1350-1400 fps....1.5 high at 25yds and 0 at 100yds with a easy 1.5 hold over at 125

Here is a page on calling the yotes. I like the distress rabbit calls.

Blue, Thx for the page, I'll spend sometime there for sure.
Bgreen , You are correct the ruger trigger are not as rifined as the smiths are....but for hunting or self defense the ruger trigger is plenty..Ive cleaned mine up quite a bit , very nice clean 3lbs .....I have a 65-5 that has a trigger that I would love on a target gun . The smith triggers are very nice....My GP-100 is a production mistake ..all the tolerance's stacked in the best possible way ..very accurate and tight ...It could use a bit of polish in the forcing cone but the jacketed bullets are not bothered by it...so It can stay as it is......
