Substitute magnum primers for standard?

Still haven't done my part on the primer front, but I did manage to prevent 2500 rounds of .22 from getting into the hands of hoarders. May go back tomorrow morning and liberate some more.

The Wally World I went to had a supply of .45ACP, .22 and not much of anything else. No 9mm. The guy behind the counter said people would come in and wait for trucks to be unloaded, then sometimes buy all the 9mm that came in.

Snicker. I guess I am OK then. For now. But next time I find a source I've got to pick up a couple or three thousand more.

I got maybe 5.000 of assorted 22, 150 or so of .380ACP or 9mm short 500 or so each of .38 Special and .45ACP and the reloaders set up so I can make shot shells of any size.

Hmmm. Maybe I'll see if I can test that limit. But I don't know if I can afford that many primers.
