I have one of the older models and it works fine, pushed a lot of primers in.

I have one of the older "Auto Prime" primer loaders too. I don't use it much anymore but it did come in handy when I did.

The only time I ever used a hand priming tool was when I was loading the Speer Plastic Bullets. The one I have is made by Lee, close to 40 yrs old now. I prefer to prime on the press since I use a progressive.

I have an older version and is great. I use it for pruning small runs of ammo when I use the single stage press
