Haka, here is a website with all kinds of different loads. http://www.handloads.org/loaddata/default.aspHakaman wrote:I just received a set of Lee 45LC dies in the mail from Midway USA today. It's amazing how fast they ship things out to you.I've used Lee dies for years. I've got no complaints about them, they do the job well.
Anybody have any "favorite loads" with a 255gr bullet and W231 powder ?

You are more than welcome Haka. W231 should be a good powder as it is damn close to the burn rate of Green Dot and I used a lot of that in my shotgunning days. It was good for 12. 20 and 28 gage and works well in .38 Special and .45ACP also.Hakaman wrote:Thanks OM, just what I was looking for !!!

I use the Lee, 4 die sets for both .38/.357 and .45ACP. never had a problem. Well, one time did not crimp some and tossed them into the ammo box, we did have a problem then.Hakaman wrote:I loaded up some 45LC's for the first time, and they turned out great! Used the roll crimp on the Lee dies. It is a cool looking round.
