When training for bullseye shooting, is there a preference between starting out at smaller distances, gradually moving the target farther away as you improve, and putting it out to where you want to end up from the get-go?

That depends on how long you've been shooting. With juniors, we start them out a closer ranges and gradually move them back. It's a confidence builder for the children. With adults, starting out at distance is typically the way to go to learn proper technique.

I'll stick with that, thanks!
