Logging in; password remembering
Anyone else having problems with logging into the forum and checking the "remember me" box only to have to enter everything again the next time you visit the forum?

I had the problem too.
Does it matter if we don't log out? I never do on MarkII.org and everything seems to work OK.
At forum.m1911.org if you don't log out every time, the search for new posts since you last visit will not work.

This problem has really got me stumped. I have word that our newest member lurttinen, is having his password auto remembered. Once I get this figured out, I'll post info on how to clear up the cookie mess for anyone who's also not getting auto logged in.
BTW if anyone else is getting auto logged in, please let me know here.

Re: logged in
Thanks Len for the reply. I tried it on other phbb forum websites and and the one I can get to remember me, does the sporradic log in just like you're experiencing. I'm trying to fix the problem but it may take a while.bearandoldman wrote:sometimes I am auto logged in and sometimes nott. no set pattern, it just happens as it pleases and Bear growls when it don't work auto for me.
