for the "GunSmith wannaBee",

http://www.Pachmayr.com/pachmayr/tools.htm
has a 277-pc GunScrew Assortment for
and a 30-pc GunScrewBits tool kit (down the page)
I found them at CheaperThanDirt.com for $30 & $15.

also, for another choice
http://www.B-Square.com/
has a 217-pc HexGunScrew assortment $62 S1000
and a 32-pc GunScrewBit kit for $30 T0045
check-out their T0100 $60 "Tru Tapper" that
lets you drill with your DrillPress, then remove the bit
and insert the TruTapper into the chuck, for Aligned-tapping.

The B-Square GunBits are $20/ XE-226588 at Cabelas.com
or $17 at Academy.com (stores in&around TX)

I found a Heckuva deal on Torque-ScrewDrivers:
http://www.cz452.com/
click on Torque Drivers menu-link

http://www.Gun-Guides.com/
produces a lot of "ReLoading .*******" specific guides
AND 'Ruger .22 Automatic Pistol' as a 70-page booklet
with: Co+Prod HISTORY, UserGuide, UpGrades & Accessories Info...
pre-Mark-III. It is $12 at Cabelas (in ReLoading stuff).
Is it worth $12? probably not. but I'm glad I have it.
It would be nice if EVERY Ruger-Mark-X had it as a UserGuide.
Good detailed photos on take-down and assembly
for Field-strip, bolt, trigger+sear and magazines.
It is also avail at: RimFireSports.com

my "tools" have been getting jealous that I'm not spending
any money on them recently, just on "gun stuff"...
so, I'm trying to satisfy BOTH "needs"

When folks ask what tools should they get, the very first thing I tell them is a set of gunsmith or hollow ground screwdrivers. How many times have we seen firearms with damaged screws and scarred recievers and parts where the wrong size, wrong type of screwdriver was used??

A whole lot of Truth there my friend, you got have the proper tools to get the job done. Worked as a service tech on Yamaha products and small engines and you have to have some of the special tools to do the job properly. Have a BIIIG tool chest full of stuff but none of them expensive Snap On screwdrivers taht I sued all my days will fir a gun screw properly. All the wrong screwdriver does is a lot of damage to the screw and sometimes the gun also.
