Maybe some of you have heard a bit of the loosely substantiated rattling that Ruger 1022's as of 2008 have plastic triggers, T-guards and barrel bands!
I wondered how long it would take after the stock acquisition deal.
I'll be doing a complete build for a friend sometime this next week. He's bringing me a new 2008 model.
We shall see! I'll post!...The good news is that ^%$* bolt pin is still metal!

Bummer.
Has 'Henry' gone with Plastic-Triggers?
a few years back they caught a bunch of **** for using
a plastic barrel-band and front-sight and (? forget).
But then again my Glock-19 has had a plastic trigger from the start...

toy,
Rugers are supposed to be a molded cheap variety as opposed to the better built Glock trigger.

I've only seen pictures of the "plastic" trigger assembly, but it looks to me to be the same stuff that 22/45 frames are made of. In a few months to a year, it will be a non-issue.
