Yep, those 10-22s are a bucket of fun. Reminds me, that I need to drag mine outta the safe, dust her off, and take her to the range. Enjoy it!!

You hit the nail on the head Mr Med Hat. I admit these .22's that I have got in the last year has taken me back to my youth. I am enjoying them more than anything else in the safe.

Actually, no...
I have a hard enough time keeping my levers fed. A semiauto would put me in the poorhouse
No self-control, ya know...

An empty weapon is just a very expensive hammer.

Happy belated birthday!
My only rifle is like yours, a 10/22 Sporter. My wife got it for me last Christmas. If I had a dozen rifles, it would still be my number one. I really enjoy it. I put a homemade nylon sling on it, and a Tasco 3-7X rimfire scope. That's all I needed, with some extra mags.
I had the regular carbine years ago, in my "previous shooting life". When I got back into shooting, another 10/22 was a "must have".

* S&W 15-22 Sport (.22LR AR)
* 2 Ruger SR22 .22LR pistols

Every one should have at least one or more. They love to have company in the gun rack.
You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.

Congratulations! I never knew how good a rifle they were till I got one. After some modest improvements I have to say it's my favorite gun to shoot. Unfortunately now that I have introduced my 11 year old daughter to it it's also her favorite. Bob over at cheapgunparts has all sorts of stuff on sale for Christmas (disclaimer the only affiliation I have with CGP is as a satisfied customer)

Yep, I am one happy camper....

This is my 10/22. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

My apologies to the Rifleman's Creed.
10/22's are fun guns. You can keep them plain or you can dress them up. enjoy.

Every one needs another one, just brought another him. Got lots pf ammo in stock. Prefer to use CCI Blazer as it cost about the same as the Fed bulk at Wally World and I can buy it from someone who knows my name.
You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.
