The adventures of HenryI

HenryI took a trip back home to Bayonne and here is the whole story.

I can attest to the rapidness of response and the willingness to help of Henry Repeating arms and especially the President, Anthony Imperato and his staff.
Early April I bought an H001 at my local favorite gun shop and it shot extremely well and operated perfectly. I put a scope on it but had to shim the rear of the scope by .024 inn order to get it to shoot to the center of the target but never really paid any attention to that fact that there may be a problem, Installed a receiver peep sight and had to move the aperture full left to get it to shoot to center, using all of the windage adjustment and then some. Well maybe there is something wrong. Contacted Anthony and he advised returning it, told him I thought it may just be the receiver cover and he said he would send one, due to problems in shipping, I actually received two. Tried both and they did not alleviate the problem so I requested a shipper which was promptly sent to me. On June 15th, I received the shipper and took the gun to my local shop for them to pack and ship; it was received in Bayonne on the 17th at 10:15AM. On Friday the 19th, Ken in the repair dept called me and told me that it had a slightly bent barrel and it was repaired and he would try to get it out that afternoon with the old barrel which had an aftermarket sight and an extra receiver cover and screws and washers, On Tuesday morning the 23rd, the shop called me and told me Henry was back home. How’s that for service? And the problems are solved and the new barrel is a good shooter also.

Excellent service and pretty quick turn around on a used gun.

I am more than just a little bit happy that I don't suffer from that malady which seems to run rampant on this web. My wife is continually remarking about my remarkable memory, which in all humbleness, I must confess, is sharper than when I was a mere young man in my 40 & 50's. Henry II is continuing to flaunt his colors. He is a little unhappy with me since I have been on vacation the last week or so and haven't had him back out to the range. Maybe I can correct that this Friday since I have the day off. BAOM, I am pleased to hear Henry I's minor affliction has been reconciled by the Mayor of Bayonne. Kaz and Greener have good hearts and are fine upstanding individuals. No mention will be made of their apparent lack of mental acuity in this thread. Carry on, Gentlemen. Respectfully, TB
