I may get my hands on a 10/22 receiver for cheap and plan to put together a "stock" 10/22 out of some old parts laying around the house. I would like to replace the sights on my old original barrel. Can anyone recommend a relatively inexpensive sight installation tool for the stock 10/22 barrel? I am interested in something that is a little easier and more precise than the brass punch method.
Thanks in advance.

You can use a Williams, Wheeler, or B-Square front sight pusher on your 10/22 front sight. They are available and Midway or Brownells for about $50.
They work like this on the 10/22
