Something new from VQ

For those of you who are just never quite satisfied with the overall appearance of your Mark II/III pistol, VQ now has the answer.

It's a Picatinny rail mounting attachment sleeve that fits over a 5.5" bull barreled receiver. For a mere $250 clams you too can have a fully ninja tactical .22 auto pistol.

The revolver conversion kit is and adder.

Pretty pistol. The price wouldn't be too bad if you got the grips and optics also. Gets high marks in the "cool" category.

I will put that picture in the "If it ain't broke..." category.

I have always been partial to bull barrels on all my MKs and now have the 'full' set. 3.5", 5.5", 6 7/8", and 10".

I believe they look absolutely perfect without any extraneous add-ons. Mine all get Hogue grips and little else.

That would be my point of view as well. Don't really "get" the whole swiss army knife/leatherman approach to firearms. Makes me think of Mall Ninjas. To each his own of course, but it completely eludes me. But then, many things do...

There is a heck of an aftermarket for Rugers that is based on "If it ain't broke-fix it" Can't say this fix does much for me, but I'm willing to bet a bunch of folks will be posting pics of their tactical Rugers. Nice thing about Rugers is that you can tinker to you heart's conent.

I'd have to say the .22 Auto Ruger models are very utilitarian. You can buy and hang almost anything on them. This VQ fixture kind of reminds me of the Jeepneys over in the Philippines.
