Mark III target trigger

Post by frank » Wed Apr 09, 2008 6:13 pm

I understand these can be adjusted. What can be adjusted, and how is it done? Worth doing?
I've gotten the field stripping down, but have yet to tackle main frame and trigger disaassembly.

This thread explains it:

There are one maybe 2 screws one is pre travel and the other is over travel.

Most factory triggers only have the pre travel adjustment.

If you're looking at a VQ target trigger then this is the info for that one.

Actually the stock trigger can be adjusted, just not for pretravel. The stock trigger has an overtravel screw built into it. To adjust that screw you have to remove the trigger and then reinstall it.

The yellow arrow is pointing to the stock trigger's factory overtravel screw. One would have to add a pretravel screw into the factory trigger for the one shown by the red arrow. Follwow these instructions to add a pretravel screw into your stock trigger.

Hope this helps.
