Screwed up Ruger 22/45

Kind of a problem...
I noticed that my mainspring housing was a little loose, i.e. it would click a little as I gripped it. So I opened it just a little, snapped it back in, everything seemed Ok.
Went to dryfire, noticed the bolt was little harder to pull back than usual. Had trouble getting the magazine out. Now it is hard to get the magazine in and out, and I cannot get the mainspring housing out. I can seemingly dryfire, but I do not think the hammer is going forward, and that is why I can't get the mainspring housing out. I think when I did my readjustment, that stupid little strut thing got out of place.
No idea what to do from here.
