Ruger 22/45-can it function w/o mag disconnect spring?

I just lost my magazine disconnecter spring for my Ruger P512 MK III 22/45 and while I am waiting for a replacement I am wondering if the gun will function without a magazine disconnecter spring and /or magazine disconnecter.

Yes but you should use the washer mod to allow for proper sear and hammer alignment in the interim. http://www.guntalk-online.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=387
