thanks guys.i've got some hogue grips from rimfire sports on the way.also a couple of those mag loaded things.man my thumb hurts.

LOL! I call that "Ruger Thumb". I have one of those thumb saver things...works great. Best $4 I spent! 8)

You should work out that thumb more regularly. I suggest more frequent trips to the range! That will build up a good callus on the loading thumb.
