Now that I've got things set up as I intended, I'm looking for a way to holster the bad boy!
Is anyone making a holster that can accommodate a MKII with a red dot or is this a modification project?
Thanks for any  and suggestions!

I know of no commercial holsters open on top to accommodate scope mounts for a red dot. Everything I've seen has been a home remedy to the problem. One contributor to Mark II.org, the previous forum to Mk.III.org, provided this example on how to modify a holster to fit the pistol with a scope.

Image

He cut open a the front of a nylon Uncle Mikes style holster for the scope and added some black nylon tape around the edges to keep them from fraying. Here's what it looks like all together.

I remember him mentioning hand stitching the nylon tape around the opening.

Hope this helps.

Thanks so much , Bullseye!
I figured a mod may have been in order and could only hope somebody had done one.
That holster looks like the answer.
The pics are fantastic.

Thanks!

Uncle Mike's makes holsters for scoped handguns but unfortunately they are the "bandalero" type that requires shoulder straps; not something that will easily attach to your belt.

Well I'm going to attempt a "holsterectomy"very soon as described in Bullseye's post. With some needle work help from my "better half" I should be successful.
If it doesn't look too comical I'll post a pic.

I was thinking maybe WHEELS, NS trailer tongue. But like the Selkillers gun, it does get the job done.

That makes a lot of sense and use a limber to carry the ammo, possibly get a harnedss for Bear and he could pull it for me.

Got to put the 10-40x50AO Tasco from yo 10/22T on it sometim just to see how it looks.

All you'll have to do is point Bear toward the range and say, "Mush!" :D

No, just say COOKIES, he will do almost anything for a dog cookie.
Heard from the Sealkiller the other day, he has got his 12 inch Paclite now but in the process of getting retired he has not yet had a chance to shoot it. He is hot after the 100 yard bench rest guys with that weapon.

I have no doubt that Sealkiller will achieve his goal based on the level of perseverance and drive he's shown in the past.
