My Ruger Markiii Target magazine hits something about 1/2 the way in. If I jiggle the mag a little it goes in the rest of the way. Has anyone encountered this problem?

Sounds like the top of the magazine may be hitting the magazine release. Try inserting a mag with the the release button depressed until you get it around 3/4ths the way into the frame. If you still are hitting with the button depressed then check to ensure one of your grip screws aren't causing the problem by removing the grips and inserting a mag.
