Hello,
A neighbor bought the above and asked me to research it for him, as he is computer "challanged". It's NIB with all papers and authentication from Ruger---- s/n 211-014XX.
I can't locate the s/n on the Ruger site, nor can I find any history on the gun on the Ruger site or on the Collectors' forum.
Can anyone enlighten me on a brief history and approximate value?

I read Ruger's chart that it was made in 1984, the third year of production. As to the rest, I'll have to leave that to our more learned members.

Welcome to Guntalk-Online.com!

The best person to help provide you with information on the Red Barn Signature edition pistols is Chad Hiddleson from the Red Eagle News Exchange; You can email him at [email protected] . He is an avid collector of Ruger firearms and an author of “Encyclopedia of Ruger Semi-Automatic Rimfire Pistols - 1949-1992”. He keeps track of serial numbers for the various models and special editions of Ruger firearms.

The Red Barn pistols were a limited run made especially for the Ruger Collectors Association.
