VQ or Ranch Products ext. mag release? Also rushusa.com Co.?

Sorry to be posting all over like I've been. But this is B.E.'s place. Nuff said.

Recommending to a generous friend who's let me borrow his older MkII Std Target for a couple of months, that he obtain an extended magazine release to prevent calouses on his thumb (and mine, next time). Both Ranch Products and VQ offer this device. Which is preferred? How easily are they installed?

I very much want to buy a CED Pocket Pro II Timer and found a web site (www.rushusa.com) that offers this timer at a $10 discount with free shipping. It means a lot to save some paltry dimes. Has anyone heard or dealt with this company and know what their reputation for reliability may be?

Thanks. Good to be a part of this forum.

Welcome to the forum!

I really like the Ranch Products extended magazine release. It is well shaped for use with the flip of a finger. The curved contour of the extended lever is easier on the finger than a flat surface.

These install very quickly and easily. The only trick is reinstalling the spring in the right direction for proper tension.

Rimfire sports and Custom has these at a good price ($10) with free shipping.

Hope this helps.
