My Ruger MKII Competition Target Model

Been working on this one a little and this this is what I have so far:
Ruger white grips with stainless hex head screws
AMT Adjustable trigger
AMT Stainless Magazine with Ruger MKI inner parts and modified to be an 11 shot magazine
Hi Viz Front Sight

What is this pistol going to be used for? Just plinking, or do you have plans to compete with it?

Just plinking...there are no competitions in our area that I'm aware of anyway.

Really white grips don't usually look good on a stainless handgun. That ivory white gives yours a touch of class. The stainless mag is nice, too. I don't think AMT is in business anymore?

Thanks everyone. Ruger22 I'm not sure if they are still in business or not but I read somewhere here on the net that Ruger sued them over the AMT Lightning. There are aspects of the lightning that I liked, like the grooved receiver and the trigger guard looked cool.

I agree with Ruger22, I think those ivory grips work quite well with that "huge" looking stainless Mark II. How do you like the hi-viz front sight? I'm contemplating one for mine as these older eyes have difficulty seeing the front blade, even with white out.

Hi-Viz sights work very well. I think I like the sight from Dawson precision better. If you are retrofitting, you don't have to change the rear blade with Dawson sights as you will with the Hi-Viz.

I can't believe u changed out the grips to ones without the thumb rest. That was the whole reason I bought that model. Otherwise it looks good.
