Volquartsen SS Mark II / III trigger

I see that Volquartsen now has a stainless trigger, and also an accurizing kit with it. I am actually debating getting the kit, and as long as I'm at it, a disconnector, after 2 1/2 years of being happy with just a VQ bushing. Since I have removed the mag disconnect in my Mark III, I will get a Mark II kit so I can lose the washer that's in my hammer now. A little cheaper than a Mark III kit, too!

I know that the trigger and sear are the best parts, but the kit price is little more than those parts separately. The disconnector is a good price, and will leave the original as spare.

I do plan on using all stock springs. My trigger is about 2.5# now, and I don't want much lighter, just less slop and play.

The sale point was the SS trigger. Looks to be a good upgrade from the aluminum one. I've always wished the factory trigger was SS.

That's good, they're silver coated target trigger was lame at best. It looked like it was coated in lead instead of silver powder coat. The new one looks pretty nice and should be a nice compliment for pistols looking for a silver colored adjustable trigger.

Made up my mind and ordered kit and disconnector. Brownell's saved a couple of bucks over ordering from VQ. Midway does not have the kit with SS trigger yet. It should be in mailbox and installed by next weekend.

Then all I'll need is decent weather for a range trip. Finally made it past forty last few days, but stayed gray and damp. Mixed precip tonight and rain tomorrow. Yecchhh!
