I thought that as fans of the RUGER MK1 you might enjoy the CROSMAN MK1 which as you can see is a twin in looks and feel. Crosman produced over 400,000 of these CO2 powered pistols over 50 years ago. Seems that Crosman contacted Ruger back then to see if it would be possible to team up. Ruger declined. The Crosman MK1 is as complex to manufacture as the rimfire Ruger twin, in fact more so when you consider the seals required to make use of the 12 gram CO2 cartridge that powers the 22 caliber pellet. As a point of interest it seems that Crosman or someone is today building pellet rifles marked Ruger. These old pistols are very reliable and of course they point well, are very accurate, and pack a punch with 450/500 fps pellets. They came in a nice pouch with a tin of pellets. Regards

Nice find. Would make a good tree rat gun for the back yard.....

Is the rear sight setting as high as it appears?

David, you are correct. Several of my pals do use them for pest control around the barn. The sights are protected in the wings, and are some of the best sights of any I've used. We have no problem hitting 2" spinners at 20/25 yds. Nothing much points better than these if the grip angle fits, and the triggers are sweet. We shoot them at 16.4' indoors in the winter to stay in practice. You get 30/40 good shots from a CO2 cylinder. Regards
