*** Beretta Neos Recall ***

Post by Locoweed » Wed Sep 15, 2010 9:36 am

Some Beretta Neos pistols are being recalled due to problems with the safety. Go to this web site and check your serial number. If you need to return it full instructions are given on that page.

The Neos are one of the "neatest" looking, and most comfortable
22's to shoot. I sense they have some inherent problems going on.
It's sort of funny now, but I asked a fellow if I could try his Neos to
see how it shot, and a small part (not sure what it was now, memory
issue) fell off. I felt bad, but that is my experience with a Neo.

I believe there was an issue with the rear sight spring falling out.

Based on pistol looks, my first thought on the recall notice was that it was probably a problem with the video-game cable connection. It seems however, that most of the folks who own one, like the pistol so it must be a pretty good pistol.

It does give that "video game" appearance, but I think that's why I would enjoy one,
just to have something a little different looking. Although, I am not totally convinced about it's quality?
Did it actually have a Video hook up on it? 8)

Looks can be deceiving, while they look very interesting I was not very impressed with the overall construction of the Neos pistol.

I'd have to agree with your thought, although, based on the minimal experience I have with it.
What bothers me the most, is that quality companies like Beretta and Sig (mosquito),
put out 22 pistols that really don't live up to the standards you would expect from them.
