Mark II Blueing

Post by Dusky » Thu May 06, 2010 9:55 am

Just traded into a Mark II that needs a blue job. No big dings just worn blueing. It looks like Ruger will do it for me has anyone ever had that done? Can some one recommend a good shop to do this. With shipping costing so much I was thinking about sending in two MarkII two pistol to get blued.

I've heard nothing but good things about Ruger re-bluing their guns. If you have any custom parts, I would recommend removing them before send it in. They will replace all of the guts it they do service. If you keep your internals that will just insure everything as is.

Ruger does the best work on reblueing their 22 Auto pistols.
