I have an original Colt conversion kit on a 1911 frame (no, it's not one of the early collectibles).
I want to spend a LOT more time practicing practical pistol skills, to include rapid reloads, and I'm thinking the .22 is the way to go.
Problem is, I only have one magazine for it, and Midway wants well north of $60 apiece for them. I won't say that's NOT going to happen, but it dang sure ain't my first choice.
Anybody have a source for a little more reasonably priced alternative?
Thanks,
Magazine for Colt .22LR Conversion

Magazine for Colt .22LR Conversion
An empty weapon is just a very expensive hammer.
If you're looking for those Colt 22 magazines, you'll have to pay attention to Midway's monthly sales. $55-$60 is what they normally run but Midway occasionally has them on sale for $30 each a few times a year. I use them for my Marvel .22 1911 conversion.
The Ammo Clip has one in stock for $42. http://www.ammoclip.com/C/colt_ace.htm
Bob's has them for $40 http://www.gun-parts.com/colt/
