I need a better firing pin for my Mark III, and my local dealer got a titanium firing pin from Power Custom, Inc. that is labeled for Mark I and Mark II.

Will this fit and work in a Mark III?

Yes, the firing pin is the same between the Ruger 22 Auto models.

Be sure to check the overall length of the new pin and the length with the pin against the pin stop to prevent any peening of the breech face. Anytime you install a new firing pin in a rimfire this should be checked as there are minor differences in parts tolerances which if not checked could cause problems.

I took mine out and put the original back in. Had too many FTF with it.
What did you mean by needing a better firing pin?? Was there issues with the original??
