There was a guy on RFC that had worked up the compete cad drawing and had machined 1 grip/frame using a CNC. Makes me wonder if he sold his program to VQ or other company.

If he didn't sell his CAD rendering 22/45 frame program, then someone over at VQ may have read that thread and said, "Hey, we can do that!" VQ is a member over at RFC and they do read the forum. I have long suspected that they generate ideas based on comments folks make about parts and the availability of parts for their Rugers. The timing of their new products often suggests ideas came from comments they've read earlier on the forums. Not that this is a bad thing, but they do stay in tuned with the needs of their customer base. Smart business sense if you ask me, especially if the center point of your business plan is catering to the owners of somebody else's products.

I think the world of the Volquartsens! They are good folks who stand behind their products and provide their customers with excellent support service.

That has always been my experience too!
