I realize this is not the right forum but I thought you guys and ladies could help me out. I have a large safe but I'm looking for a small one gun safe with easy access for in the bedroom. I haven't seen any really good reviews on any of them. Any help is appreciated and I hope all of you have a happy holiday.

What is your criteria for a small safe?

Most are just lock boxes not safes when you get that small and can be easily carried off if not secured. I've seen a couple that have a pretty good lock on them, digital and finger print but have not tested any of them out.

I'm looking for a safe large enough for a 1911 size gun with keypad entry. Something that can be bolted to the floor or a cable that will go around the bed frame.

I should have cjosen my words better. It would be more of a lock box rather than a safe.

How about something like this -
http://www.gunvault.com/microvault.html - it has holes drilled in the bottom for mounting or can also be used with a security cable.

I bought one like this
http://dsafe.stores.yahoo.net/gvmi.html, but was disappointed. The batteries would be dead after about 30 days and had to use the key to open it. Otherwise it was good. They are available as plug-in and battery backup. I'm going to add that feature to mine as soon as I get a round-tuit.

The one Bullseye referenced looks real nice. If you are looking for something less expensive you might want to check Harbor Freight. I recently bought a Digital Safe from them for $40 on sale. It is 13"x10x10 and has holes in both the bottom and back for bolting down. They have some smaller ones also.
