WIN. XPERTIOR ULTRA HIGH VELOCITY 22LR

Post by Dri-Wash » Sun Nov 08, 2009 12:09 pm

Seen these on the shelf....advertised at 1640 fps....has anyone shot these out of the mark II? Just wondering how they fed and grouped.

Listed as 32 gr. copper coated HP with Nickel cases.

I know some will comment as to shooting high velocity out of the mark II but would like to hear from those that have shot these.

Ruger does not recommend shooting these Hyper Velocity ammo, Std and HV (High Velocity) only. I tried some Hyper Velocity by Fed in my MKIII (all I could find at the time), and there was NO accuracy at all, 2"+ at 20 yrds. So I shot the rest of the brick in a rifle.

The recoil will be tough on the bolt stop and associated recoil suppressing hardware.
