Leonard just to let you know made a new mold for the MKII 22/45 grips wasn't happy with the grips cast from the first mold. A little thicker than I wanted and not enough bevel on the edges. Made a change to the proto grip and made a new mold. I am going to cast grips from the new mold Monday and I hope these are the one's. Because of the existing grip shape the top half of the aftermarket grip is a little thinner not to worry because the plastic I use to cast the grips is tough. I am anxious to see how all turns out. To all readers of this post if it wasn't for Leonard I wouldn't be making grips yet for the MKII 22/44.

Re: Ruger MKII 22/45 Grips
Glad to help Dom, and thanks for the update. Got enough guns that one can take a little time off. Looking forward to getting them, will probably get a second set for that guns twin. Saw your grips on Greeners MarkIII the other day when we had a fairly long range session and they looked very good.TechTeach wrote:Leonard just to let you know made a new mold for the MKII 22/45 grips wasn't happy with the grips cast from the first mold.
