Herretts makes a target grip for the Mark III http://www.herrett-stocks.com/national.htm. Here's a picture of a set on a Mark III for you to see Herrett Nationals You may have to call for the Mark III version I don't see it listed in their price list.

Another custom grip maker is Randal Fung http://funggrip.jnb.com/ruger.html He has some very nice walnut target grips.

If you're just looking for a set of wooden grip panels with a thumbrest then Majestic Arms has a nice set of Coco Bolo grips that are very affordable http://www.majesticarms.com/id10.html (see them at the bottom of the page). Of course Ruger has some wooden thumbrest grip panels available at their shopRuger store. http://shopruger.com/Grips/products/13/

Randall makes good grips, they are pricey but well worth it. I knew him from the Bay Area when I lived there. His Dad (Bill) and Bob Chow were good friends and I was fortunate to compete with them when they were on the SF Olympic Club's pistol shooting team.
