I found a link once that showed how to do a lot of modifications to the Ruger mk III, but I can't find the link now. I am having trouble with a lot of misfires and would like to look at the firing pin section.
Thanks

Oh, there's better info here than I can even hope to give, I'm just pointing you in the direction I was pointed.
A bit of advice - do your detail strip on a good working surface and keep some places clear to sort the parts. I used some extra paper towels as landing pads.

I used a large towel to lay the components on. I didn't find any burrs or anything on the firing pin, the firing pin felt sticky. I cleaned everything with break kleen and reinstalled everything. I am going out to the range this afternoon to try it, hope it makes a difference.
Thanks

It felt sticky because of the preservative Ruger coats on everything before shipping. Hopefully you also cleaned out the firing pin channel too.
