Problem with new Rink grips S&W 41

Anybody had a split in the wood where the lower securing screw bust is located.

Also did you find them a bit tight using thier sizing chart?

That is bad news, I've long admired their grips. Be interesting to see how they deal with your problem, or, if they just think that it is your problem. Regards
