The weather was great in Georgia today!!!! (After much rain).
We went to a BIG gun show today in south Atlanta and looked at all the over-priced weapons & ammo available. Fortunately for my wallet, I only walked away with another new magazine for my Ruger! We then went out to the woods to do some general target practice & plinking & had a real blast! Shot my MKIII with several types of ammo (about 700 rounds total), also got to shoot my son-law's Springfield 40 cal & 9mm pistols, my brother's SKS 7.62, a Mossberg tactical 12 gauge, my other son-law's Mauser Sniper airsoft rifle, and also a brand new Taurus 45/410 that my brother bought for his wife at the gun show. THE ultimate self-defense handgun!!! A good day all round..This sport of recreational shooting is truly a wonderful way to spend a sunny Saturday in the south!!!! :D

Here's my MKIII, with the Mauser airsoft rifle:

Sounds like a great day and you are breaking my heart. My firearms are in Virginny and I'm on the other coast.

Have fun.

Great day for shooting. Especially, if you're not away from home base.

That what you get when you win the 2 weeks in a landfill cruise package.

I'd take a day like that anywhere in the continental USA. Glad to here you had some enjoyment of the "In the woods style".
Hey CigarSmoker, I love your Ruger, you must have good taste:

Looks like we do share good tastes in .22LR handguns!
I really like mine & hope to also add a scope of some sort in the future.
Although with a scope, hitting the target just might be too easy!!!!
It still amazes me how accurate this gun is with the stock sights.
