Any .22 revolver fans?
I personally love .22 revolvers as I really like guns that aren't ammo picky. Right now I have a S&W 617 pre-lock with 6 inch barrel and a Dan Wesson with multiple barrels. Another S&W 617 is on the way, the 4 inch 10 shot version. I'm also picking a stainless MK II this weekend.

Think you might have a mild addiction to .22's? Or do you have it well under control?
My only .22 revolver is a single six. Darned fun gun to shoot. As far as not having too many .22's, I'm sure there is a number that is too many, but the number isn't 8. Caught myself staring at the used Rugers and Single Sixes behind the gun counter as I was checking out this afternoon.

When I went by Green Top Thursday for cast bullets, they had quite a few used single sixes and MKII/III's. Passed up on looking at any of them since I was less than a week after my last "gotta have." I only looked at one, a pink EAA .45. I decided that I'd have to buy a new hand bag and shoes to go with the gun and you are never out of style in basic black.

I've been nosing around .22 revolvers for a while and the market for new ones seems to be limited to Ruger SA's, Heritage SA's, S&W and Taurus. At least from what I've seen. I haven't seem much in the local used market other than the surprising large number of used single sixes at Green Top recently.
I really like my single six. The price of new SS's seems to have jumped quite a bit in the last 6-8 months.
I've fired one Rough Rider. It shot very well, but I'm much rather have Ruger.
I've fired a Model 17, Colt (don't remember the model) and a Taurus Tracker. The S&W and Colt were excellent. The Tracker shot pretty well, but the long barrel made it seem muzzle heavy. The only Model 94 I've seen was used, in pretty rough condition and way overpriced for the condition.
The new S&W 617's and 317's seem to be priced out of my range for a .22. The 317's I've seen have been over $100 more than I paid for my Airweight.
I guess I'll keep nosing about. A DA .22 revolver would be a nice addition to my weekend shooting decisions.

S&W revolvers are great guns but so are the prices. They have a great trigger, you can pull it back and feel when it is ready to break.
I like my Ruger 50th Anniversary Blackhawk in .357 especially since I modded the front sight by filing a V notch in t and getting the height right, them mounting a piece of a HiiViz light pipe in it with JB weld. Sure does help out these old eyes. Got the old Iver and the H&R Sportsman to shoot but hat to shot them too much as the Iver is older than me. Was in the local Gander Mountain yesterday and saw them pink Glock's, not my style.
I will see if I can get Omars' number for you.
