best scope for

22/45 6 7/8" barrel-Hunter Mk lll. Brand new still in box. Couldn't get to the range because of 'IKE". Went 12 days without electricty-Houston is a hard place to to live in in Sept.

My sympathies are with you. I have family in the Houston-Galveston area and I know that things are difficult for the folks there as they recover from the storm.

I've used a Bushnell Trophy. Not a bad scope, but definitely not an Ultra Dot.

The picture, the scope looks wierd, I wiill admit but Ihave shot some groups in the past under .200 for 5 shots at the indoor range I was using last year. Will have to set it up again and give it a try outdoors. Both of the ranges are 25 yards. Dont forget about the millet red dots, they seem to be really good for the money. I picked this up brand new on Fleabay for $60.

Bushnell Trophy 2-6x32 is another option - Of course, my scope can't compare to the one bearandoldman has mounted up on his pistola!

I am currently using 1" MILLET SP-01 and can't tell any difference between it and my 25mm ULTRA DOT except the price. also consider The weaver Quick detach Lo mount Rings They keep a 25mm/1' Red Dot real close to the barrel for decent price as well.
