Swapped one MKII for another one!!

I went to vist an old gun friend this weekend. I took some of my guns along with me. I took one of my 2 MKII 10" ss along with me. I had no plans to get rid of it, but he was very interested in it and his health is not well at all so I decided I would do some trading with him. He traded me a SS MKII 5.5" along with a VQ kit for it. I will also be making a trip back soon to pick up a bunch of gunsmithing supplies from him, tools, books, bluing tanks and more. He said his poor health doesnt allow him to do much gun work anymore and he wants to give me most of his setup. So here is the pic of the pistol as I got it from him:

The other good news is that he promised he would give me first chance if he goes to sell any of his MKII's, he has 3 different models!

That's a very nice looking KMK512. Hopefully you've installed an extended mag release under those VQ grips - it'll definitely make changing mags easier. Sorry to hear of your friend's poor health but it is nice that he thinks highly of you enough to pass on his tools and equipment. It says a lot about your character and devotion towards your friends.
