Very interesting, you and the real KAZ must have a lot of time on your hands to compile all of this information, Bear says to give the real KAZ a puparoni and a scratch under the chin. Two of the ammo's you listed the Eley Sport and the Fiocchi #22CRN marked LSP on the box shoot very well in my 10/22's and the Great Eight also. More accuracy for the dollar than the match ammo. I figure this way, if ammo costs 2 bucks a box and shoots to 1 inch at 50 yards, the stuff that costs 8 bucks a box should a shoot to 1/4? Four times the price should be four times as accurate. eh?? :D :)
You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.

well the real KAZ is on bed rest due to a gamey left hip so he has not been going on my morning walk with me because he finds things to chase. I feel so guilty going without him, but I have to keep going for my own health. He is better and we will take a hard look at Monday.
I wondered about the Fiocchi #22CRN, but I read that it was good but shot dirtier than most. What say you on that score? My new Annie loves the RWS Rifle Target which is borderline on expensive.
On the hard work doing the list, I did a copy/paste  thinking we could add our thoughts. Regards

Haven't noticed that it shoots dirtier, but then maybe I am just not that particular. I clean the gun only when it has problem as if it is working it ain't broke so it don't need to be fixed. Here a a couple of targets shot with the LSP or #22CRN. One shot with my 22/45P8GC and the other with my Ruger 10/22 DSP. Both shot at 25 yards dfom a rest both scoped, in fact the pistol had a rifle scope on it. The 22/45 has a VQ sear the 10/22 has a trigger jov by my local smith and a pressure pad between the barrel and the stock about an inch back from the fore end. Other than that they are stock Ruger with no mods

Just bought 4 bricks of the Fiocchi and 2 of the Eley sport, for when the weather gets warm again. Both shoot well in all my guns, I think the major problem is with the shooter.

Are you absolutely sure Remington owns Eley??

I just find that hard to believe.

Trading as:
Eley Limited

Registrant type:
UK Limited Company, (Company number: 1640035)

Registrant's address:
Selco Way
Off First Avenue
Minworth Industrial Estate
Sutton Coldfield
West Midlands
B76 1BA
GB

I'm not absolutely certain of any of the statements, I did a copy/paste from a shooting thread. As to the Eley, I believe that what is meant is couched in the wording:"Remington owns or controls Eley." That could just be a design/marketing/production arrangement. Just as the ANSCHUTZ/Savage thing. Many consolidations are occurring, like ATN acquiring many optics brands. We live in strange times for certain. For my part the next nice day I'm going to set up my chrony and see for myself. Regards

Remington contracted Eley to manufacture a few rimfire ammo brands with their name on it in October of 1999. This is a partnership not an ownership.

Thanks to recumbent and Bullseye for providing corrections. I've changed the original thread because I believe it to be more accurate. This discussion was my intention as I know that our members shoot a lot of RF. Thanks to bearandoldman I'm going to try the Fiocchi #22CRN marked LSP which I had dismissed because some on another forum said that is was dirtier than most. I've been locked in to CCI SV,RWS Rifle Target and Remington Subsonic and always want to search for a cheaper/better 22rf fix 8) Regards
