I have done all the upgrades to the Mk lll except the slingshot. Today I removed the spring and detent ball and assembled the gun. I put in an empty mag and pulled the bolt back but it wouldn't pull out partially, just all the way back and locked. Am I missing something here?
I do have a PAC-Lite barrel/receiver but didn't think that would affect it.
Maybe something could help me see what I'm doing wrong.
I thought with the empty mag in it would simulate the last round being fired.

A empty mag is suppose to lock the bolt back.
Did you test with a loaded mag in the gun?
If the bolt only cam back about 3/4 and hung would indicate the hammer strut is not in the main spring housing correct, missed the pocket.
