Hey guys,
I just stumbled onto this forum while searching for Ruger .22 pistol goodies. I must say it is a wealth of info for the BE shooter or accuracy buff. My compliments to the forum.
To avoid burning your bandwith on my first post, I'll simply hang a photo of my new/old Ruger Standard along with a link to the story behind it.

Sarge, Welcome to Guntalk-Online
The main thing is to have fun and enjoy our sport of shooting. And some times that requires us to tweek/custom our guns to the best they can be.

Thank you all for the welcome and yes, the postal matches sound like great fun. Looks like I'll have to get some 50ft targets ordered.

These work well if you have a printer for the short term.
Make sure [page scaling] is set to none.
These print slightly smaller on my laser, but, if you hold a little tighter, they work well

use the 50 ft files.

Hi, Welcome.
I'm basically friendly. Not sure about knowlegeable though.
If you were looking for Ruger stuff, there is LOTS of it on here. Besides current threads, check out a bunch of the "stickys".

Welcome aboard Sarge. There's a wealth of info here. I wish Bullseye would make a DVD of it as I would be first in line to get one.

Welcome to the forum. Excellent blog post. Read your ideas about VQ and Clark upgrades. I livened up a ca 1973 standard with the VQ sear and VQ Trigger. SWMBO has taken a liking to it.

Thank you all for the welcome... deer hunting going on all around us here but when there's a lull in the skirmish, I'll head to the back-40 range with a tape measure and some targets.
Look forward to visiting with you again.
