I recently installed the Volquartsen sear, target trigger, and a Mark II bushing. In spite of continually reminding myself of how easy it would be to drop/lose the safety detent and the trigger plunger spring, it dropped both.
In eventually found both but completed the upgrade by using the factory plunger spring, with the Volquartsen plunger.
I recall reading that the use of a factory plunger spring will result in a trigger pull of 3 lbs. Does anyone know the difference in the specs for the two springs?
Also, I can't understand how the plunger spring weight would effect the trigger pull?
Trigger plunger Spring. Factory v. Volquartsen weight?

You only feel the plunger spring when you take up the pretravel. So it's only a few ounces at most. If you want to try lighter cut down a bic pen spring. Just remember this spring is what operates the disconnector.

Pull weight
Thanks for the info.
I thought that the plunger spring weight would only effect the pre-travel feel. I think that I will keep the factory spring, with the Volquartsen plunger.
I bought the Mark III to shoot Steel Challenge Matches (Iron sights). The Gloc k 34, that I shoot IDPA with, has a 3.3 lb. trigger, with lots of pre and post travel. To keep my triggers, remotely similiar, I'll keep the Mark III with about a 3 lb. trigger and a little pre and post travel.

Re: Trigger plunger Spring. Factory v. Volquartsen weight?
I put in the Volquartsen kit and Clark bushing and got a trigger that was well below 2#. Put the stock spring back in and got it slightly above 2#. Second Mark II got the same treatment with the stock spring and came to 2 1/4#. Now have 3 Mark II with the same internal setup which is right where I would want them.
