Just traded my way into a mark II with a 10" barrel. I had no idea Ruger ever made these with a 10" barrel. Shot a 8 shot group today at 25 yards that was slightly over an inch. Looks like this one will be a keeper. Does anyone have a good idea on how to carry this gun? I was thinking a single point sling might work. Has anyone ever seen a set up like that? The trigger is a little heavier than I would like. I'll just have to get a sear and trigger from Brownells and fix that.

I've been interested in those 10" models for some time now. Looks like it would be fun to shoot. Welcome to the forum BTW.

Inside a trench coat

or back pack
It's not any different than a TC. A bandoleria works best for them. I took a soft case and added straps for a shoulder carry for my neighbors TC.

I dont know about a holster, for carry. I did find a nice 'case' ffrom Boyt to carry to/from range etc. It is the 20x10 (or slose to it) for $33. NICE quality.

I would hire a porter.
